Brainstorming

Brainstorming — generating ideas as a team — is a fundamental requirement for team work.  cordin8 provides the ability for team members to:  generate ideas; organize the ideas into categories; and evaluate the ideas using various rating techniques.

Whether it is a regular team meetings to generate and explore ideas to address issues such as improving customer satisfaction or ways to celebrate employee accomplishments or a more formal strategic planning session to identify strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities (SWOT), the Brainstorming feature is a great feature to capture and evaluate ideas as well as increase team member participation.

The outputs of these sessions can be exported to a CSV file (e.g., Excel) or into a cordin8 section in a TeamMachine™ (e.g., Requirements section, Risks section).

“Teamwork is, above all else, influenced by the clarity and significance of the goal.  Teamwork takes place within a structure that either facilitates or impedes effective coordination of effort.  Teamwork is more likely to succeed if members are both competent in the technical knowledge and skills associated with the performance objectives and able to collaborate effectively with one and other.”

Carl Larson and Frank LaFasto, TeamWork: What Must Go Right/What  Can Go Wrong.
