Overall project is governed using predictive project management. Software development piece of project is managed using agile methods.

The overall project is managed using the Project TeamMachine(tm), but linked with an Agile Program TeamMachine(tm) to manage the agile piece.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
The overall structure of the project is defined by the work breakdown structure (WBS).
The WBS is a product-, or deliverables, focused.
Work Packages
The lowest level in the WBS structure is called a 'work package'.
Work package definitions include: scope, start/finish dates; effort; cost; assumptions; constraints; risks; stakeholders; and an sequenced, activity list.
Incorporating the agile portion of the project
The agile portion are organized into "iterations" (also called "sprints"). The "features" are managed in the Agile Program TeamMachine(tm).
Dependencies between Agile and Predictive
A dependency can be set between a feature in the Agile Program TeamMachine(tm) and a work package in the Project TeamMachine(tm).

Work Packages
Hierarchical organization of WBS. Work packages are flagged.
Feature Board
The software portion of the hybrid project is managed using agile methods.
"Features" are identified and managed using the Kanban.
Program Board
Features are selected from the Program Backlog and placed into 'iterations' ('sprints') within program increments (PI).
The rows in the Program Board are agile teams. The columns are iterations. The features are placed in the cells.
Managing Dependencies between 'Feature' and 'Work Package'
Add a "dependency' record associated with the "Feature" where a dependency exists between the feature and work package.
Identify the 'dependency owner'.
Notifications
The dependency owner will be notified when updates are made to a dependent feature.
Scrum of Scrums (SoS)
Each team can summarize their daily/weekly status which can be viewed by anyone by click on the 'latest' status link.

Team Board
The agile teams de-compose "Features" into "Stories". The team uses their Team's Story Board to manage the iteration, or sprint.
Gantt Chart
The Gantt Chart shows the latest status, or progression of the timeline, including the agile work.
Weekly Project Review
Automatically assembled by pulling content from other sections, such as schedule (work packages) and from the Agile Program TeamMachine(tm), such as features and dependencies.
Use by project/team leads, including agile, for weekly review with project manager.
Active Work Packages Detail
The active work packages dashboard shows all "in progress" work packages with the details associated with it.
